Mr Prafulla Kumar Dhal is an award winning academic, water and climate change specialist currently serving as the State Manager of The Climate Reality Project India for Odisha and West Bengal.

He has served as the programme officer of Indian Council for Child Welfare, New Delhi, the State Coordinator of National Open Learning program in Odisha, a member of the Central Advisory Broad on Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development and a member of the National Working Group Member of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Mr Dhal has won several prestigious awards including the Environmentalist of the Year 2011 from the Odisha Environmental Society and Indian Science Congress Association, Odisha Chapter, the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Award 2013, the Best Water Conservationist award from the United National Environment Program and Rivers of World Foundation USA and the Think Odisha Leadership Awards from The Times of India.
