Smruti Sweta Samantray is a climate leader (India), The Climate Reality Project, trained in February, 2015.

She was one of the participants among others from all over the globe for “Become a Negotiator Tracker at COP 22” Campaign (2016)-Makkarech, organized by Climate Tracker. She has also volunteered in the Climate Walk for COP 21 campaign, organized by Raahgiri and TCPI (in 2015).

She has been actively volunteering for various social & environmental causes for >10 years, in association with different organizations, clubs, NGOs, etc. (wellness campaigns, relief distribution for flood and drought victims, skill development workshops, and so on). She has also been a part of several workshops on Energy Access, Biodiversity Analysis, Renewables, SDGs, etc. and has mentored school children, college students, and office goers on the allied issues.

Smruti has been working in the genre of Corporate Communication for >7 years now (specialization:Green PR). She has written several articles on climate change and sustainability. Hailing from a background of English Literature-Mass Communication, MBA and PR, she has been imparting training sessions to the college students (including engineering, management/ IIM students) on related topics.

As an active climate leader, she believes in tireless learning and sharing process, which supports her goal to motivate others for implementing innovative and effective solutions.
